Me, Me AND Me.

I don’t really know where to begin with this.

My name is Kate. I love to take photos and I have a laptop which occasionally fails to function.
In the year my life has changed drastically. Okay maybe not drastically, but everything is relative and all. Anyway, in January I made a decision that in the summer I would go away for a month or two. For one reason or another I found myself having the opportunity. Strangely enough, when I made the decision to go, I wasn’t particularly excited. I know that sounds ridiculous, most people would jump at the opportunity but I wasn’t really that interested. In March I took an amazing trip to NYC. It really was one of the most spectacular places ever. It completely lived up to its expectation but I still wasn’t overly fused about going away. Even the day I said goodbye to my parents at Heathrow I was still a bit miffed about the whole thing.
I’d like to say that the 4 days I had in Hong Kong changed it all, but that would be a lie. 12 weeks ago to the very day. 21st June 2014. I made a trip to the Great Barrier Reef. Australia. It changed my life. I don’t really know why, but for the first time in many years, I felt completely free of anything that had ever bothered me in the past. I returned home, after travelling down the east coast and Thailand, feeling happier than ever. So what am I doing now?
Right now on 13th September 2014. I am planning my next trip and to fill in the 5 months I’m spending at home writing all about where I’ve been so far and giving a few tips about places to go and what to do.
