Sheesh Chigwell- Review

A Turkish Restaurant with a simple concept which has taken West Essex by a storm.
In the heart of Chigwell in one of the most beautiful buildings lies Sheesh. Although only a few hot spots in Chigwell I’m certain that Sheesh would have found its fame anywhere in the UK. With fantastic surroundings and dreamy decor in recent years Sheesh has been the place to be and certainly be seen.

Sheesh prides itself on its fresh food with authentic flavours with produce sourced from traditional London markets such as Smithfield, Billingsgate and Spitalfields. Menu classics include:
The ultimate Turkish Mezze starter, Lamb and Chicken kebabs and Turkish Doughnuts with maple syrup. Not to mention fabulous steaks, Grilled fish and vegetable mussaka. There’s also an extensive cocktail and drinks menu for everyone to enjoy serving up delights such as the mojito an classic cosmos
Exclusive use of the upstairs bar is also a plus for diners. The perfect place to have a pre or post dinner drink. The bar is open Wednesday to Saturday with live music every Thursday. There’s also the opportunity to enjoy a glass of vino on a heated terrace all year around. So go ahead and make a reservation! But get in there quick. If you are after booking a Friday or Saturday night expect to have to book at least a month in advance.a £10 pp booking deposit is required parties over 5 and unfortunately the tables are capped at 8. They do however offer a private dinning option which accommodates 10 ( The Sugar Suite- Yes the building is owned by Lord Alan Sugar). To book requires a £250 deposit and a minimum spend of £1000. Birthday Cakes also available.
