What’s been happening? The Kate Khronicles [part 1]

Something new to write about today- Well not really, I’m going to talk about the 24 year old me but that is something I rarely share.

Kinda….. If it’s not what I did on a trip or what I thought about it then its something which I feel the need to address at the time – say ‘ Going after your dreams for example.
This is going to be all about what happened in August and what’s to happen in the next few months. I’ll try to be as non sarcastic as possible – Although, I can’t promise anything.

So things started in July when an article of mine was published on ABNSave’s Blog. An original prose and photo project focussing on Amman, Jordan and all fun and must do things.
This was my first piece of published work and it was kind of a big deal. Is blogging a job yet? Can I work in a pair of pyjama bottoms?

Next came one of the best holidays ever. SWITZERLAND. Booked on a bit of a whim I decided to take a solo trip to go and climb some hills ( or half die climbing up a mountain- call it what you like!) I headed to Lauterbrunnen via Basel, both delightful and I would more than recommend both. Anyway, my trip ending up being not so solo because I met a friend called Stephen in dorm 5 of ‘Valley Hostel’ – I will actually be posting all about my Swiss adventures next week so stay tuned for that.

Before I left for Switzerland, I had been in contact with TOPDECK, in the hope of writing an article for them. Again this article was about Jordan but all the exciting things the country has to offer side from Petra. I had actually been on the tour JORDAN ADVENTURE with them in June and wanted to share my thoughts on what the tour had to offer!

Meanwhile… Whilst I was in Switzerland. A miracle happened! I won a photo competition with TOPDECK as part of their monthly #TOPDECKER prizes. Won all fair and square and completely unrelated to my article. I was so happy- Still am. I couldn’t believe that I had won, I was convinced that no one ever won!

The voucher I received was equal to £600 and I have already booked up a tour … all be in for December 2017. BUT, I’m going to go skiing around Whilster and Banff for NYE. So excited!

 THEN on August 17h I had ANOTHER published article – This time for Round The World Experts ( part of the flight centre group ) with an Article about Alternative stops in Chilean Patagonia!

I also paired with http://neatpackbags.com/ and my new bag arrived yesterday! I can’t wait to show it off to all you hikers, campers and glampers alike.

However the biggest August News is my new Ambassador role for Transfer Travel.
I have been given a wonderful opportunity to create new content both video and written for this brand new company which sits uniquely in the market place.  I hope to have formed a long lasting partnership with such a fantastic company!

Whats in the pipeline for the next few months?

I have THREE events. This weekend I am attending a bloggers festival in London. Next week I am attending the Launch of a new hotel in Mexico ( event is in Chelsea so don’t get too excited) Then at the end of November I will be a guest at the Vuelio Blogging Awards. http://www.vuelio.com/uk/blog-awards/

I’m going to Paris and Disney NEXT FRIDAY ( expect VLOGS, BLOGS and MUCHOS PHOTOS)

I will be ( FINALLY ) be publishing my SOUTH AMERICA CATALOGUE. I have been toying with this since March. Fist post will be going live at the end of September!

I turn 25  on NOVEMBER 5th. Time to celebrate my Silver Jubilee!

I’ll be creating a lot of content for Transfer Travel with lots of ideas brewing!

Then in January the BIG MOVE. I’ll most definitely be talking/panicking  about this in more detail nearer the time!

Amongst all of this I am going to back to full time work! In fact I will have THREE JOBS! ( Jesus Christ, Kill me now)
